The Central Brittany Cricket Club (ccg@emailaccount.com) is based in the heart of Brittany with beautiful surrounding's and warm summer's.The team was formed in 2005 as Gourin Cricket Club, with the aim of introducing more Cricket to Brittany and to offer more choice to touring clubs that might like to sample a small piece of Brittany with the added bonus of a game or 2 .
The club is a team made up of English and French players (with astonishing natural abilities) and with the help and coaching of English cricketers will in the fullness of time be a very competitive and enjoyable team to play. The club is fortunate to have the use of two grounds & the support of the local Maires. We have received much encouragement & help from our local authorities in our attempts to introduce this new sport here. We have recently changed the name of the club to more correctly reflect the catchment area for our members. The club will be playing some of its games at Gourin, in the Morbihan department & some at St. Mayeux in the Côtes d'Armor.

Cricket has been welcomed with open arms by the O.M.S of Gourin and with the grounds well under way 2009 is looking to be another very enjoyable season . With the benifit of the use of two grounds the club will be able to play games over an extended season.
Cricket is still very NEW to this part of France and one of the best ways to get more people interested and the players we have keen is to try to play as often as we can at weekends throughout the summer.
We have access to very good indoor facility's throughout the winter month's and we are currently batting the team in to shape.
